I don’t know how you guys don’t pick up the phone unless it’s a scheduled client call. I’m not knocking your processes. Just saying that I’d probably be out of business if I required my clients to schedule calls all the time.
It’s not something I could get away with early in my career, but I think at this point clients know I respond better to email. It’s also helped to use a central project workspace such as Basecamp or Apollo. Easier for them to know what’s going on at all times.
